I am an independent spirit and freelance writer who loves art, travel, music -- especially jazz -- fashion, and independent film in search of a way to combine all my loves and take them on the road!

Really, I'm just an average tail-end-baby-boomer woman trying to proactively live life with as much grace, dignity and humor as I can as I attempt to remain inspired to make my dream a reality - all the while dealing with the tiny little details that amount to life: family, friends, maintaining a healty lifestyle, work and dating! Well, not so tiny.

My dream? I'm working on a plan to live in Paris, France for a year -- maybe longer. How I am going to do that? Well, that's the mystery! But, the veil to that mystery is slowly beginning to lift as I connect with people across the the internet who are living out their travel dreams!

When I figure out how to make my dream a reality, I will base myself in Paris and travel over as much of France, particularly, and Europe, generally, as I possibly can within that year.

I love travel, meeting new people and exposing myself to all our differences, which, based upon my limited experiences, amount to all of our similarities. Travel broadens the mind and soul, and enlivens the spirit. That's what I am working on right now: an enlivened spirit.
