When I write, it is easier for me to write about personal experiences as appose to me given a prompt then write only things based on that topic. Throughout everything in life, a lot of things had begun blurry. As I grew older everything became more clear, this is why I compare myself and my writing peices to a kaleidoscope. Until I get more in depth with what I'm trying to say, everything seems blurry, then later gets clear. A kaleidoscope fits me because the different patterns, and colors can represent and relate to all the different types of events I've gone through. When writing about a personal experience, showing compassion is important, thats what I think the colors show. Sometimes things can be really dark and scary, but then anything can be very bright and happy. A lot of the times life can be confusing, until you make a couple twists and turns to get on the right path and begin to understand everything. And to me thats what kaleidoscopes mainly show, the lack of knowledge before the gain of knowledge.
