I’m Zoe Perrett- also trading under the alias of The Spice Scribe. I’m a freelance food writer specialising in all aspects of Indian cuisine. I am founder and editor of Culinary Adventures of the Spice Scribe, Food Editor for trade title Ethnic Restaurant Magazine, resident blogger for Anjum Anand's The Spice Tailor website, and a regular contributor and content editor at Foodepedia.

I’m on a perpetual quest for edible knowledge in the form of chefs, people, restaurants, products and enterprises small and large that challenge the narrow perceptions of such a vastly diverse food culture.

I’ve built up relationships with an amazingly diverse collection of individuals involved in the Indian food scene, and am now involved with brand consultancy and PR, advising on creative aspects of packaging, and copyediting for cookbooks, menus, packaging and websites.

I also have a reputation as a bit of a whizz when it comes to solving culinary conundrums, and providing a sort of matchmaking service connecting up various professionals I know for the greater good of all involved. I advise charity Find Your Feet - the 2013 'Curry For Change' campaign is shaping up a treat!

I don another hat to provide PR, menu brainstorming and support, both practical and creative, to various Indian supperclubs and pop-ups serving food from Bengal to Bombay to Bangladesh - check out Damn Good Curry and The Urban Rajah for starters...
