Zakladni skola Nove Mesto na Morave is a primary school in the center of the Czech Republic. The School is situated in a small town with 10000 inhabitants.Primary schools in the Czech republic are for children aged 6–15.

Our school is 130 years old, with 550 pupils and 30 teachers.

School priority: education of ICT and ecology, school is focused on information technology.

20 years ago was initiated new way of live school –it was the way of specialization in ICT. The idea of the project is in systematic education of ICT at school and especially in selected classroom of school. Education in this classroom is determined for pupils which are 12 years old and education is 4 years long.

Among the main topics which incorporate school program in selected classrom are:

  1. work in office application - WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OneNote, Office 365
  2. work with cloud technology- Skydrive,WordWebApp
  3. creation and programming www
  4. graphics software and work with photograph and video
  5. computers networks
  6. databases systems
  7. CAD - design with software

Our pupils continue on high schools where they achieve very good results.

There is not only one technology used but itś a system of ICT education.
