ZsaVette (Ellis) Eze
ZsaVette (Ellis) Eze is a visionary technology executive, public speaker, and Vice President of Technology at Synchrony Financial, with more than 20 years of experience across FinTech, cloud transformation, and digital innovation. She leads large-scale initiatives in partnership with Amazon, including the launch and expansion of Amazon Pay Later, and is recognized for combining strategic rigor with technical fluency and inclusive leadership.
A 2024 Synchrony CEO Award recipient and 2025 Women in Technology (WIT) “Woman to Watch” Award honoree, ZsaVette is known for driving complex programs at the intersection of technology, regulation, and customer experience.
🌐 Tech & Leadership Journey
ZsaVette’s career began in entry-level support and research roles and evolved into leading nationally scaled technology programs. Early in her career, she helped develop the first “Pay by Check” button for eBay, powered by CheckFree—an innovation that helped lay the groundwork for scalable digital payments.
She earned her PMP certification over 15 years ago, became Agile certified, and added AWS Cloud certification in 2020. Over time, she built deep expertise in API development, led CI/CD transformations, and managed globally distributed engineering teams. Today, her work increasingly blends technology, law, and ethics, with a focus on responsible AI, governance, and risk-aware innovation.
