Zack Sauertig

I am currently a student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University planning to double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation. I am from New Jersey and have always had an interest in business.

I recognized this interest back in high school when two of my friends and I started our own company. It was called "Verve Apparel," where we designed and sold our own apparel. I specifically was in charge of designing the pencil-and-paper design onto the computer via Adobe Illustrator. I was also involved with some finances such as purchase history and I had the contact with our manufacturer.

From this experience I realized that I desired to continue my passion for business, specifically in a role that could allow me to possess leadership capabilities while also letting me collaborate with a team. I have played team sports my entire life and they have taught me the importance of being a great teammate. My aspirations are to one day either own my own business or lead a team of a large firm.
