Zulfikar Ramzan

I am currently the Chief Scientist of Immunet, Inc., where I am responsibe for Immunet's next generation threat detection technology, with an emphasis on cloud computing, collective intelligence, data mining and machine learning. Prior to joining Immunet, I was Technical Director of Symantec's Security Technology and Response division. I was the architect for Symantec's Reputation-based security technologies (known now as Ubiquity), which are a fundamental part of Symantec's consumer and enterprise security offerings. I completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
