Lindsay Zwicker, MA
Berkeley, California, United States
My approach is integrative and holistic. I believe that to achieve mental health we must explore and heal the connections between our mind, body and spirit. And I can help you do this. Moving through life with a feeling of dis-ease can be exhausting, and it is my goal to help you achieve a sense of wholeness and well-being. I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space in which together, we can explore and heal past wounds so you can healthfully move forward in your life.
Every person has their own different set of strengths and challenges, and in our first few sessions I will assess which psychotherapeutic tools might be most helpful to you. As we work together, our sessions might include various modalities I have had training in: talk therapy, emotionally-focused therapy (tapping), mindfulness exercises, movement, breathwork, guided visualizations, artwork or play therapy.
I have experience providing counseling to adults, teens and children and particularly enjoy helping young adults make life transitions. I currently provide therapy at the Oak Creek Counseling Center offices in Berkeley.
