Subin Paul

At Oracle, Subin has been lending solution-architecting, business advisory, opportunity management, financial engineering and leadership skills to their Financial Services Global Business Unit, focusing on risk-management and related functions.

In his role, Subin brings extensive domain expertise in risk-management, broad functional coverage of key requirements, keen understanding of peer / market / regulatory demands, accomplished grasp of associated technology and experience-borne sensitivity to commercial interests, to Oracle's large sales-force, mainly across EMEA. Subin is also a regular speaker on topical events at graduate schools and universities where academics and students both have come to enjoy his unique and typically, irreverent view on things, immensely.

Prior to this role, Subin has been involved in design, development, testing, release and delivery of Oracle's Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA, previously known as Reveleus) from his time at Citigroup ITIL and i-flex Solutions. He has also been at Standard Chartered Bank and First National Bank, running teams that successfully tailored, tested, implemented and rolled-out mission-critical systems. Subin also had a stint with Tata Consultancy Services where he was a key member of the team that designed, developed, tested and implemented one of their most successful productized solutions, aimed at capital-markets.

Subin has lived and worked in multiple countries, and has been based in the UK for the last ten years. When not travelling, he enjoys time with his family and loves keeping in touch with his engineering background. At the moment, he is working on sorting the mess of cables in his study.
