Bruce Deitrick Price

Hi from Bruce Deitrick Price. Writer, artist, education reformer living in Virginia Beach 23452. See Lit4u.com (his literary site) for information about 10 novels, 2 books on education, and 1 epic poem. His most recent books are Art & Beauty (noir crime and mystery), Frankie (humans react in unexpected ways to robot), and The Boy Who Saves The World (story below).
Bruce Price was born in Norfolk, Virginia, graduated with Honors in English Literature from Princeton, He served two years in the Army, and then lived and worked for many years in Manhattan.
His first book was Into The Unknown, nonfiction about explorers.
His novels include Ralph; American Dreams; Big Dog, Too Easy; The Man Who Falls in Love With His Wife; Art and Beauty; Frankie; and Zak’s War.
Price writes widely about education reform and founded Improve-Education.org in 2005. His writing on education includes two books, The Education Enigma, and Saving K-12.
American DreamS, published by Permanent Press, is arguably the most successful experimental novel in American literature; still in print….Too Easy is noteworthy because published by Simon & Schuster and hailed by Kinky Friedman as the “unwed mother of all page-turners. So well written it’s frightening.” Translated into French, German, and Dutch….Theoryland, a long poem, is a highly original satire of academic excesses.
Price is listed in Who's Who in America, PEN, and Mensa.
The Boy Who Saves The World is in paperback. Best review so far is from Literary Titan: “Riveting. ….a sci-fi thriller that delves into artificial intelligence, government surveillance, and the nature of free will. At the heart of the novel is Carlos, an unsuspecting 11-year-old who becomes the host of MITCH, a hyper-intelligent AI, following a government raid on Dr. Newman’s clandestine laboratory. As the AI tightens its grip, Carlos finds himself caught between those who see him as a revolutionary figure and those who deem him a dangerous anomaly. Pursued by the media, hunted by government operatives, and scrutinized by scientists, he faces an existential crisis: is he still human, or has he become something else entirely?”

Benjamin Wey
Financier in New York, New York
I am Benjamin Wey, an American financier, investor, and philanthropist, and the founder and CEO of New York Global Group (NYGG), a New York based private investment and advisory firm. Over the course of my career, I have become a recognized voice on the capital markets connecting the United States and China, the world's two largest economies.
My story did not begin on Wall Street. I came to the United States as a young man on a full university scholarship, arriving with just $62 to my name. That beginning shaped everything that followed, a career defined by ambition, resilience, and the belief that opportunity is something you build rather than inherit. I earned an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma before making my way to New York, where I founded New York Global Group.
Through NYGG, I have spent years advising and investing across cross border transactions, helping growing companies access capital, navigate complex markets, and build lasting bridges between the American and Chinese business communities. My work sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and international relations, a space where cultural fluency matters as much as financial expertise. It is a perspective few can offer, and it has made me a trusted resource for entrepreneurs and investors operating across borders.
Beyond my work as a financier, I write and comment on markets, entrepreneurship, and the evolving U.S.–China economic relationship. I believe in independent, straight talking perspectives, and I care deeply about encouraging a new generation of founders to think globally and act boldly.
Philanthropy remains central to how I define success. Having arrived with little and built a career from the ground up, I am a committed supporter of education and opportunity, because I know firsthand that access and mentorship can change the trajectory of a life.
Based in New York City, I remain focused on the work that has defined my career: connecting capital with opportunity, championing entrepreneurs, and strengthening the ties between two economies that will shape the future of global business.

James Sackl
Father and Founder in Melbourne, Australia
I'm James Sackl, a founder based in Melbourne, Australia, and a father.
I run two companies. Wallace Biotechnologies is building automated laboratory hardware to make biological measurement cheap enough to repeat, because the chemistry in a blood test costs about sixty cents and the paperwork around it costs closer to thirty-eight dollars. Terraform Technologies builds containerised factories that turn local rock, air and sunlight into construction materials, so the hundred and thirty-odd countries currently importing steel and cement can make their own.
Different industries, same argument. In both, the science was solved decades ago. What stops the technology reaching people is cost, manufacturing and distribution, and almost nobody is working on that end of the problem.
I write about it at jamessackl.com.au.
