Pierre-Mary Bachelet is an international entrepreneur with extensive experience in the automotive, hotel, and commercial property sectors. His expertise also encompasses fine art, champagne production, and classic car collecting.

Pierre-Mary’s career began in the automotive industry. From 1990 to 2008, he expanded his family’s automotive business across the department of Aisne in Northeast France, retailing several prominent international car brands. These included Suzuki, Toyota, and BMW. Under his leadership, the company sold several thousand vehicles per year and even organized exhibitions of classic and historic cars.

In 1989, he also made his first foray into the hotel industry, opening the Ibis Accor Château-Thierry at Essômes Sur Marne. He is still active in this industry 30 years later, recently launching the Kispace Hotel next to Disneyland Paris.

After 2008, Pierre-Mary began to incorporate commercial property dealings into his business. He opened a shopping center on six acres of land next to the Ibis Château-Thierry and similar shopping centers near Bachelet dealerships in Laon and Soissons.

Pierre-Mary has a keen interest in art, history and culture. He has lent his patronage to art exhibitions, such as a retrospective on Modern Art of the 20th Century supported by Culture Minister Frederic Mitterand. On behalf of the family, he also cares for the Domaine Bachelet vines, producing quality champagne that is served in some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants.
