Akeem Adekola popularly known as DE-WAY is a native of the largest city in Africa, Ibadan. Though many don't know his real name, they call him "De-Way" because his creativity speaks for him anywhere anyday. He is the brilliant entertainer behind De-Way Entertainment, a popular media outfit in lbadan.

Akeem Adekola was born on 17th of July 1970s into the family of Late Dauda Osuolale Akande and Late Mrs Adijat Mofomosara Ajike . Late Dauda Akande is from Ajakore compound of Oranyan, Ibadan South-East local government area of Oyo-state. Nigeria.
While Late Adijat Ajike Mofomosara hails from royal family of Oba Abass Aleshinloye (Late) the 1st Olubadan of Ibadan-land. Akeem Adekola attended Saint Mathew's primary school Aban-la, while in the primary school, he also did a part-time training in the area of
entertainment with the popular theatre organisation under the leadership of Chief Laolu Ogunniyi theatre
organisation. ( Loto ). Akeem Adekola is a talented Actor/Comedian artist who has participated in some stage play led by Late Olaniyi Joshuha popularly known as Ewejoko in 1987. He played the role of Emere in Opa-Aje Ied by Laolu Oguninyi Theater Organization in 1988. He also played the role of Aare Latosa's Son in Aare Latosa by Big Abass in 1989. He continued in his Secondary Education at prospect high school Aban-la, Oluyole local government area Ibadan, Oyo state. Nigeria. Where he was made a Janitor Prefect in 1995/1996 set. He later proceeded to Ibadan polythecnic where he obtained his mass communication certificate. He is now self employed. He is the CEO of De-way Entertainment Int'l. Akeem Adekola De-Way is a multi talented guru who has paid his dues within the circle of entertainment industry in ibadan and its environs. Attesting to his professional prowess, he has worked with people of influence with a track record that could stand the test of time. He's oppoturned to work with the most socialite King of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Aje-Ogunguniso 1 ( The 41st Olubadan of Ibadan land ).
On his Eminence list were also the king of Fuji music and also the first Maiyegun of Yorubaland, “King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, King Sule Alao Malaika, Mayor Dr Rasheed Ayinde Merenge, Alh. Rahmon Akanni” to
mention but a few.

Akeem Adekola De-Way has been honoured with several awards both in entertainment circle and in community.
