Audrey Fezile Sifunda

Student, UJ Scratch Coding Member, and Academic Tutor in University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park

I am a pre-service science teacher(student-teacher) who believes that the aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, that what to think-rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men. I am specializing in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences and Physical Sciences. My developing teaching pedagogy is shaped around the idea that all students are capable and deserving of equal opportunities in education. I enjoy poetry, travelling, writing, reading, and outdoor activities such as hiking and horseback riding. I am an investigative type of person-always curious to find out why some of the things are happening the way they are and I love nature so much.
