Babatunde hails from Okepopo area of Lagos Island, Lagos State. He had his primary education from Lerato International School, Dopemu Agege in 1995. Secondary education from Lagos State Model College, Meiran, Ojokoro Ijaye, Lagos in 2001.
He had his first degree in Estate Management from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, in 2008. He had his National Youth Service Corp in Ilorin, Kwara State, where he served as the president of his CD's group (Keep the Environment Clean) in 2009. Thereafter, he worked as a facilities manager with Alpha mead Facilities and Management Services Limited for about two years, managing multiple sites owned by Total, E&P Nigeria Limited.
He bagged his second degree, MSc in Facilities Management, where he had a distinction in his dissertation on Sustainable Facilities Management at the University of Greenwich in 2014. He also holds a foundation certificate in Prince 2. (Project In Controlled Environment)
Currently a Research assistant with the Sustainable Built Environment Research Group (SBERG) at the University of Greenwich. Babatunde is planning to further on a doctoral program on Climate Adaptation and Resilience to Project Life Cycle or Sustainable Building Maintenance and effect on Facilities Management.
