Brenda Koh
Artist, Teacher, and Musician in Singapore
A baroque and modern violinist, Brenda has performed extensively in numerous modern and early music ensembles, including Red Dot Baroque, Tempesta di Mare and the Orchestra of the Music Makers. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, and recently graduated with Master of Music Degrees in both Violin Performance and Historical Performance at the Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins University, having studied under Keng-Yuen Tseng and Risa Browder.
Brenda is also a violin teacher based in Singapore. She believes that music, as a universal language and a form of self-expression, allows one to learn about the world and the appreciation of beauty within it. “I hope that through teaching music, I am able to guide students to learn about themselves, develop their character, and enjoy the process of music-making and sharing.”
