Brian Levine

Brooklyn, New York, United States

Hello! I am from Brooklyn, went to the Bronx High School of Science, then studied Astrophysics at Stony Brook.

I taught in Sunset Park for a bit before taking a position in the Education Department at the American Museum of Natural History. I've done several things, but currently, am the the manager of the Lang Science Program.

For fun, I present in the Hayden planetarium for some of our Astronomy Live shows, am a regular greeter and microphone handler at SciCafe, help run the Astronomy on Tap series with Emily Rice, and am often at other Astronomy outreach events around the New York City. And, the owner and wearer of many nerdy/geeky/science shirts, featured not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times! on STARtorialist.

You also might see me at any number of concerts, specifically anytime Phish, Trey Band, MMW, TMBG, or Tool play, but am an avid fan of many other types of music - too many to list, as I'm close to running out of characters :-)
