Dimitris Michaelides

Dimitris was born and raised in Palaion Faliron – in other words, beach, palms and a giant chess set by the sea.

He is currently involved in media planning for Mindshare Greece and he holds a BSc in Marketing & Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business. Throughout the years he has worked for ‘I Kathimerini’ daily political and financial broadsheet newspaper and ‘V+O Communication’, mostly specialized in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.

Dimitris is always up for meeting new people and mixing with different cultures, music is his ally in escaping daily routine and is constantly seeking for new and creative ways to redefine reality.

His affair with TEDxAthens has started back in 2014 when he participated as a volunteer. Since then, he became passionate about its rationale and he identifies himself as a true TEDxer.
