Malhotra

Dr Gaurav Malhotra is a National Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Physician and Professor of Nuclear Medicine at Homi Bhaba National Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy in India with an experience of more than 20 years in the field of Nuclear Medicine. He is the only one from India to have been conferred Honorary Fellowship of American College of Nuclear Medicine (FACNM) for his contribution to the field of Nuclear Medicine. For the last two decades, Dr Gaurav has been working at the Radiation Medicine Centre of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, where he has been managing Thyroid clinic, Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine scans and Targeted Therapies. He is a National Medical Council recognized Post Graduate teacher, Thesis guide, Examiner and Assesor for MD Nuclear Medicine courses in India. He is Section Editor of Endocrinology in Medicine journal published by the Wolters Kluwers USA. He has 53 publications in proferred indexed journals, 44 invited lectures or session charing, 2 book chapters, Research Gate score of 32.79 and H-index of 13 (Google Scholar). He also serves on the editorial board of Clinical Nuclear Medicine journal of the USA. His special interests and ongoing clinical research is focussed on Thyroid disorders, Adrenal tumors including paragangliomas, Pituitary tumors, other Endocrine malignancies, Ectopic Cushing’s Syndromes, Oncogenic Osteomalacia, Functional imaging in Psychiatric disorders and Nuclear Cardiology.
