Emily Rigden

I'm currently a senior at Lumen Charter High School. I enjoy playing soccer, and I'm currently a captain of the team at my school. Also, I take dance classes in my free time and I've done this for fifteen years. I am also interested in music, I play the French Horn. I'm very creative and enjoy art and photography. During my high school career, gaining good leadership skills have always been a goal I've had. My Sophmore year I started a GSA at my school to support the LGBT students. To gain the right skills needed for the president role of GSA I went to LTI in Madison. LTI is a leadership camp for students that are starting clubs like GSA.

This past semester I have also worked at an after-school program for elementary students. In this program, I tutor kids in kindergarten through second grade.
