I am an academic, consultant, and strategist. I conduct research in innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategy. I received engineering,computer science, and management degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Georgia Institute of Technology. Subsequently, I studied management research at the University of Oxford with doctoral thesis on “Frugal innovation: Social entrepreneurs’ perceptions of innovation under institutional voids, resource scarcity and affordability constraints”. I served as an expert advisor on Frugal Innovation for the European Commission. I hold academic affiliations at Oxford University, Imperial College London, Warwick University and Queen Mary University of London. Prior to academia, I worked in the USA at IBM, Met-Pro Corporation, and the United Nations.
