Gugulethu Gongotha

My name is Gugulethu Evelinah Gongotha, a proud Xhosa woman from Johannesburg, Gauteng. I am currently a first-year student at the University of Johannesburg, pursuing a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree with a major in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Economics.

I have a strong passion for ICT, not just as a field of study, but as a tool for innovation, empowerment, and transformation in the education sector. I'm particularly interested in how technology can enhance teaching and learning, bridge digital divides, and equip learners with the skills needed for a digital future.

Beyond academics, I enjoy exploring new technologies, engaging in digital content creation, and learning about tech-driven solutions to everyday challenges. My goal is to become an inspiring educator who integrates ICT meaningfully into the classroom and contributes positively to the future of education in South Africa.
