I am Ismail Taxta, a Somali photojournalist and visual storyteller with over 20 years of experience documenting humanitarian crises, development stories, and social change across East Africa. My work has been published by international organizations including Reuters, WFP, WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, FAO, ICRC, and DKH.
As the founder of Hornstories Media, I specialize in multimedia storytelling, content production, and media strategy for NGOs, UN agencies, and private institutions. My work covers major events such as the Somali civil war, the 2011 Horn of Africa drought, and recurring floods in Somalia.
