Jakob Wissel is a devout individual who attended First Methodist Church and Catholic School while growing up. He has been to South America on mission trips with the church, primarily to Peru and Costa Rica, to share their time and resources and proclaim the gospel. This journey enlightened his eyes, and he afterward volunteered at Blessed Trinity Elder Care, Interfaith, and the Salvation Army. He has lately donated to and participated in charitable endeavors for Sight, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and the Ronald MacDonald House.

Jakob Wissel is interested in traveling because of his remarkable life, mainly studying his passion for European history and volunteering abroad. He also enjoys rock climbing, horseback riding, and songwriting in his spare time.
