Matlebjane Judus K

Student, Volunteer, and Public Speaker in Johannesburg, Auckland Park

Greetings, I’m Matlebjane Judus K. I am currently a student at University of Johannesburg doing my third year in Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET. My area of specialization is Sepedi and History.

I am a fan of technology, music, and education. I’m also interested in politics, shopping and I also do public speaking.

I am passionate in developing critical learners who will be able to use education to address and redress inequalities facing their societies. I want to build active citizens who will actively participate in socio-political activities of the country ensuring that they form part of THOSE citizens who actively involves themselves in the affairs of the country. This can only be achieved through History subject by employing interactive teaching strategies that actively involves learners in learning.

Through Sepedi Home Language, I want to help the learners understand the importance of their roots, and how one can use language as a tool to preserve one’s culture and customs. As a passionate teacher in the democratic society,

I value respect, identity, privacy and Ubuntu. My aim is to use education to liberate the potential existing in young minds of the learners in different schools I encounter.
