Kevin Kuriakose

Hi, I am Kevin Kuriakose, I have been an investor for more than 4 years. I make most of my investments in publicly traded companies.

Most of the early part of my life was spent exploring and trying my hands on various different fields. I wanted to find something I love doing and gives me independence, rather than just money or status of the job title. Once I stumbled upon on investing, there was no looking back.

My initial years as an investor were spent formulating and testing different strategies and developing algorithms. My favourite investment strategy now is to buy quality businesses when they are available for a bargain price and hold them for the long run. I have found this to be a superior strategy for any investor.

My other interests include reading (mostly science, psychology, history and biographies. Here you can see some of my favourites), playing video games (I like games that immerse me in a mythical realm like Skyrim and games that put me in a very difficult situations where I have to solve challenging problems to progress) and watching good tv shows, here again my favourite genres are history (why waste time watching fiction when real life events are even more thrilling :)), mythology and comedy.

I like people who are driven by a strong purpose to solve problems, making the life's of others better, regardless of any professional boundaries. If you are one, hit me up, I'll be glad to help you in anyway I can. And the one's spending countless hours playing video games (ah...the irony)

Some fun facts about me:

1. Escaped the tyranny of educational system, so knows why things fall down without using the word gravity.

2. Once solved Rubik's Cube in less than a minute (using a radically different technique, off course)

3. One of the most happiest I ever felt was when I drew a picture and everybody mocked me saying I traced it (I didn't)

4. I'm the CTO of my Locality, or the go to tech guy :)
