Lily-Suzan Baughman

Although a native Oregonian, Lily has been to every U.S. State and lived in 14 of them. She has also lived in England, and her travels have taken her to over 23 countries and too many islands to count. Lily is a little over halfway into completing her 2nd bucket list and enjoying every minute!

Lily is married to Dr. Ben Baughman, an Assistant Professor by day and a Knight in Shining Armour the rest of the time! They were married in majestic Scotland near Culzean Castle, as Dr. Baughman’s family hails from that beautiful & magical country. The Isle of Skye holds a special place in their hearts and they look forward to revisiting the area with their family over the years. They are the parents of four children; Jacob, Alexander, Christian, and Katelyn (Team J.A.C.K.), a sweet, old black lab, and two felines.

Dr. and Mrs. Baughman support the arts, enjoy traveling, meeting new people, performing/singing, adventure, volunteering, great meals shared with great friends, and above all, spending time together with their kids. Lily is an avid photographer and can often be seen with her camera and Dr. Baughman firmly holding whatever she is precariously climbing onto to capture the shot!

Lily also enjoys painting, beach volleyball, snow skiing, water sports, creative writing, crafting, collecting; rare rocks, driftwood, beach glass, and other finds at the beach or on hikes. As a long time scuba diver, Lily has had the pleasure of diving all over the world. Some favorite destinations include; Red Sea, Caymans, Greece, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Belize, Roatan, Cozumel, Bahamas, U.S. & British Virgin Islands, and the St. Lawrence River.

When relaxing at home in Erie, PA during the snow season, Lily enjoys reading, Bollywood films, foreign films, and Korean Soap Operas. Dr. and Mrs. Baughman work for Mercyhurst University; Lily in the Office of Graduate Admissions and Ben in the Ridge College Intelligence Studies program.
