Louis Rossouw, Chairman of Executive Connections International group of companies (est. 1996), founder of Shalam Group of companies (est. 2006) and several purpose-specific enterprises, enables entrepreneurs to take '7 Types of inspired innovations' to market for the social good of their communities through innovation and investment management.

As an alumnus and client (2003) of rēp (www.repurposing.biz & www.inst.net), a rēp consultant (2005-2007), rēp venture co-organizer (2006, 2009) & regional rēp representative, Louis commits to marketplace movements through collaboration with business repurposing ventures focusing on societal impact.
After qualifying as dentist and with Honours and Masters (Cum Laude), and registered as specialist (Public Health, Health Systems, Epidemiology), he entered the academics and holds several healthcare innovations in informatics.
As Founder-Clinical Director of The Institute for Health Economics and Technology Innovation (est. 2004), he practiced as consultant in healthcare management (public/private sectors) to several countries in Southern Africa & the USA. From 1990 - 1996, he was Lecturer & Associate-Professor at the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA) & University Pretoria (UP), South Africa, published 30+ refereed & peer-reviewed research papers, abstracts & reports in professional journals covering microbiology, epidemiology, prevention, health economics, health policy, health services & technology and personnel planning.
Currently, as Chairman & Director the focus is on stewardship and investments effecting impact through these 'inspired innovations', their integration with 'societal resources' and developing investment instruments, business and life-changing solutions for 'Work-Life-Maps and Purpose' for teams.
Originally of French Huguenot ancestry, his family line is native South African. Louis, his wife of 41 years and their family currently reside in Cape Town, South Africa where he is committed to the cause of the First Peoples of the land.
