Lukhanyo Sifuba

Student and Teacher in Johannesburg

I am Lukhanyo Sifuba, a third-year Bachelor of Education student majoring in English and History. Teaching is my passion, and I currently tutor learners in schools, guided by the belief that every learner can succeed if given the right support. My teaching philosophy is learner-centered, encouraging active participation, self-expression, and collaboration. I strive to create an engaging classroom environment through interactive activities, games, and creative methods, while maintaining professionalism, patience, and mutual respect between teacher and learner.

Beyond academics, sport and education have always played a central role in my life. I am a fun-loving person who enjoys football, I am a big supporter of Mamelodi Sundowns, Barcelona, and Tottenham Hotspur. My school years were also shaped by participation in debates, where I earned recognition for excellence. These experiences taught me the importance of encouraging learners to grow both academically and fostering confidence and teamwork.

I see myself as a caring, approachable, and creative individual who values meaningful relationships. My ultimate goal is to become a dedicated teacher who inspires learners, makes learning enjoyable, and leaves a positive impact on their lives.
