Dr. Manash Kumar Paul is an experimentalist with a proven track record of development of radio frequency (RF) plasma devices for Confinement & Current Drive, research on RF assisted Wall Conditioning in European tokamaks in Ion Cyclotron Resonance Frequency (ICRF) regime using standard heating antennas. Experience in designing radiofrequency antennas, impedance matching networks, power feeders, RF compensated Langmuir probe, dual Rogowski coil system for Edge plasma characterization, plasma current measurements. Skilled in applying scientific methods to advance fundamental understanding of processes leading toapplication of RF sources in plasma generation and RF plasma – material interactions in tokamaks. Established record in following disciplined R&D methods leading to delivery of time bound RF physics oriented results. Proven ability in collaborative and team research with national as well as international scientific and technical staff under EFDA mainframe for ITER project in Tokamaks TEXTOR, JET and ASDEX-Upgrade. He recently joined the prestigious National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, India, as Assistant Professor in Department of Physics.
