Mariam Saka

As a skilled and passionate development practitioner, I have a proven track record in research, campaign planning, event organization, advocacy, training, and project management.

With over 6 years of experience in Nigeria, I have led and supported projects, research, and advocacy efforts to promote human rights, childre’s rights, youth and women's empowerment, girl child education in conflict, poverty alleviation, food and nutritional security, and disability inclusion.

I currently work at Amnesty International as a research and campaigns associates and before this, I worked at Farm On Wheel and Educate a Girl Child

My expertise spans diverse demographic groups, including youth, women,
children, men, and people with disabilities.

I am experienced in using tools such as SPSS and Excel for data analysis and project budgeting and management.

I am passionate about human rights, youth and women empowerment, gender equality, and social justice, and I am committed to promoting human rights.

If I'm not doing any of the above, I'm in the corner of my kitchen baking and trying new recipes.
