Martin Mhlanga
Small Business Owner, Director, and Life Coach in Victoria Falls
I am a Zimbabwean executive with over 18 years of leadership experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on operations, strategic partnerships, and building sustainable institutions in complex and evolving markets.
My career has been defined by execution at scale—structuring high-impact initiatives, managing multi-stakeholder environments, and delivering measurable results. I bring a governance-driven, systems-oriented leadership approach grounded in accountability, efficiency, and long-term value creation.
Beyond the corporate sector, I have established a credible and results-oriented footprint in football administration, where I have consistently driven institutional growth and competitive performance.
As Chairman of Mosi Rovers (2019–2023), I secured international sponsorship, strengthened operational capacity, and positioned the club for a serious Premier Soccer League promotion push. At Victoria Falls City Herentals FC, I led a strategic alignment that enhanced both administrative governance and technical performance.
I currently serve as Chairman of Zebra Revolution FC and Operations Director of Siyabonga FC, where we are building a structured, performance-driven football institution competing in the Division 2 Matabeleland North League. I am also the sponsor of the Hwange Unity Cup, a youth-focused platform supporting talent development from U-10 to U-23 and contributing to the broader football ecosystem.
My leadership philosophy is anchored on:
- Institutional building and governance excellence
- Strategic execution and accountability
- Commercial sustainability and resource optimisation
- Youth development as a driver of long-term national growth
I am focused on contributing at senior executive and board level across corporate, sporting, and national platforms—where disciplined leadership, strategic clarity, and coordinated action are required to unlock economic opportunity, strengthen institutions, and drive inclusive development.
