Mary Armenta

"People find her to be funny, outgoing, emotional, but not weak when they get to know her. Yes, that would be me, Mary. I am blessed with my two sisters, the two graduates of some of the best universities in the state of Guanajuato. And my parents, of course and me, my motivating family of five. I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on 7/28/1999 and I moved to Sweetwater, Texas 7 years ago. I went to fifth grade when I first moved here. I had to adapt to a new school, new students and specially learn English which is my second language. Everything went well in the process of learning new things in this country, even Junior High also everything went well. Then I went to High School. Freshman year where I just focused on passing all my classes. Sophomore year came and it was where sports called my attention; especially track, which is what I like to do. Because of my dad's job I had to more here in San Antonio, Texas, a week before school started to be exact. And here I am finishing strong this goal of my life to be able to go to College and hoped to be a Registered Nurse one day."
