Matt Guenther

I love to challenge myself intellectually and physically in pursuit of my lifelong goal of becoming a better person.

I've worked in and studied the IT industry for seven years specializing in Web Development and Network Administration & Security. I graduated from CSU with a B.S. in Information Technology and a hard-earned 3.91 GPA. Languages, frameworks, and databases I've worked with include Java, C, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS, React, HTML/CSS, and MongoDB.

My military service gave me the opportunity to visit fifteen countries which led to a burning interest in world culture. As a result, my college coursework included several international studies classes.

I am fascinated by the internet and the simplicity of communication it creates. My professional goal is to pair my IT and development knowledge with my International Studies education to develop software that the world can benefit from using. I'm especially interested in writing secure code, developing applications involving data visualization, and programming hardware.

On any given day you'll find me tinkering with code, swinging kettle bells, working on my jiu jitsu game, reading a book, or playing hockey.
