Natalie Andreas
Digital Strategist and Professor in Austin, TX
Hi there! I'm Natalie Bidnick Andreas (pronounced "And-reez") and I live, work, and play in beautiful Austin.
I'm a "pracademic," with faculty roles across Central Texas and also serve as a corporate strategist and speaker to professionals and organizations. I hold degrees from St. Edward's University here in Austin and Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas.
I’m currently completing my doctorate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I study learning design, the potential of AI in education, as well as how natural language processing can impact college composition performance.
My first textbook, "The First-Year College Writer’s Toolkit," debuted in January 2022 with Kendall Hunt Publishing.
Before pivoting into higher education, I spent more than 10 years as a full-stack marketer and communications strategist with extensive experience managing social media, SEO, email, and online advertising campaigns. Although I’m now focusing on social science research, teaching, and speaking, I do consult on select digital marketing projects.
I've contributed expertise to multiple publications, including Forbes, Bloomberg, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, PR Daily, and more.
