Nicolai Emile Maes

Nicolai joined Sainsbury’s Bank in June 2019. He has held several senior international financial services roles, with over 35 years' experience in senior finance and risk roles in the financial services sector both in the UK and Europe. Nicolai brings a wide range of experience and leadership skills to the Finance Management Department, from previous financial roles. His skills and experience in leading finance and driving performance improvement provide the business with valuable expertise in pursuing its strategy. He was a Non-Executive Director of Land Securities Group PLC from 2008 to September 2017, where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee.
