Tom Mackey was the first winemaker and gained prominence for elevating the quality and style of Sonoma Merlot as an ultra-premium, stand-alone varietal. At present, a new generation of winemakers in Katie Madigan and Chris Louton uphold the practice, using luscious, elegant, fruit-driven wines from Sonoma County grapes. With more than 400 acres of certified sustainable estate vineyards, wine drinkers are bound to enjoy a visit to the place.
Aside from wine tasting, visitors can pair all that up with some cheese or food. Food pairing is available from Thursday to Monday at $72 while wine & cheese pairing is offered daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at $25. Private event hosting is also welcome for people looking to organize an unforgettable gathering.
