Howdy, I’m Presly Ogheneruke. I’m a teacher living in Nigeria. I am a fan of the liberal arts, education, technology, football and writing.

Presly has put in decades in guiding students to achieve their educational goals at the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku; International Institute of Journalism, National Open University of Nigeria, American University of Nigeria, Yola, and currently at the University of Calabar. He is also an external examiner to several other universities. He had also committed considerable time to field experiences as a newspaper reporter, public relations/advertising executive and radio programme presenter. His biases are for media studies and communication impact on development, brand communication strategies and media ecology. To his credit are numerous journal articles, book chapters and documentary productions that have appeared in reputable national and international publications in his areas of interest. He has also attended several conferences where he shares his idea with other scholars.

He is a consummate scholar, teacher and communication enthusiast who amplifies communication as an intersection between man and the workings of society, underscoring the fact that telling compelling stories as a communication professional is of great essence. This has propelled him to membership in several learned associations and societies among which are ICA, IABC, IAMCR, EEI and GLAA. Others include the ISDS, Japan, NIPR, CCE) and PRISA (Chartered Practitioner). He is an expert reviewer for reputable journals.

Presly identifies with the problem-centered learning pedagogy as the best platform for dealing with developmental issues. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Delta State University, Abraka; Master's and Doctor of Philosophy, also in mass communication from the University of Uyo after completing mass communication programmes at Auchi Polytechnic.

He is the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Faculty of the Year award (AUN), and Best Graduating Student in Mass Communication and Faculty of Arts (2004) amongst several others. He has served as member of the Institutional Review Board of the AUN having been duly certified by CITI, University of Miami; Chair of the Communications and Multimedia Design Program (AUN); member of departmental and faculty boards at DSPG, AUN and University of Calabar.
