A well-known musician, music teacher, performer and published composer from Worcestershire, in England.

Sheila Joynes has been teaching Cello, Piano, Double Bass, Music Theory and Singing for over 50 years. Sheila is also an accomplished Organist and Choirmaster.

She presents the video series "Sheila Joynes Teaches Music Theory".

She has also taken up percussion and is thoroughly enjoying a new lease of musical life on timpani, snare drum and xylophone.

Now retired from teaching, she has recently been feted by the ABRSM for being the first, to their knowledge, to achieve eight ABRSM Grade 8 qualifications, 7 of which with distinction.

Her interests include photography, being Mum to Helen and Marianne, and Grandmother of Ralph, second Mum to Claire and Tania and partner to Stephen.
