Innovator, AI Product Manager & designer, and Technology Leader in Nairobi
Simon Kingori is a Kenyan technology strategist, AI product builder, and founder focused on designing digital infrastructure for emerging markets.
He is the founder of OneMum, an AI-powered, WhatsApp-first caregiving and child health coordination platform connecting mothers, caregivers, community health workers, nurses, clinics, and institutions around shared child records in real time.
His work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, conversational systems, fintech, and community-centered technology design. He is particularly interested in how lightweight AI systems and existing communication behaviors can be transformed into scalable operational infrastructure for healthcare, mobility, migration, financial inclusion, and social systems.
Simon has led and contributed to multiple technology and innovation initiatives across Africa, including:
OneMum — AI-powered caregiving and child health coordination infrastructure
MYGRA GRC — governance, risk, and compliance-focused digital systems
Migra-dia — a digital mobility and relocation platform for global talent and digital nomads
AI and automation initiatives focused on operational intelligence and emerging market workflows
He previously won Position 2 in the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) innovation competition 2025, an experience that further shaped his interest in solving large-scale coordination and systems challenges through technology.
His background spans product operations, systems implementation, cybersecurity environments, AI orchestration, digital transformation, and technical project management. Increasingly, his focus is on building AI-native infrastructure that functions effectively in multilingual, low-connectivity, and operationally fragmented environments.
Simon is also deeply interested in African-led innovation ecosystems, frontier technologies, AI governance, digital inclusion, and the role emerging markets will play in shaping the next generation of global technology systems.
Through his work, he advocates for technology that is not only intelligent, but context-aware, accessible, and grounded in how people already live and communicate.
