Hey, I’m Stacy . I’m a teacher living in Gadsden, Alabama. I am a fan of cooking, sports, and baseball. I’m also interested in camping. I played baseball at auburn university in 1985 through 1988, when I was picked in the 3rd round of the draft as the 57th overall draft pick for the Orioles. I played 9 years of professional baseball before my career ending injury.

After baseball, I explored many different jobs. Four years ago, I was approached by my former high school coach and asked to come back to my high school to coach baseball with him.

After accepting his offer, I was given the JAG position in the school. Which is Jobs for America’s Graduates, and I teach students who are at dropout risk and have multiple barriers (academic, economic, home life, homeless, physical, etc). I, also, returned to college to finish what I started 30 years prior. I graduate in December with undergrad degree and will jump into my masters in January.

I have 4 children: Sheridan (24), Emma (20), Charlie Grace (9), and David Andrew (7). My lady, Brandi, and I just took the two younger ones on a road trip through Kentucky. We love camping and building those memories with the kids.
