Hi I’m Uriah. I am currently a student at North Carolina Central University. My major is Pharmaceutical Sciences. I am from Raleigh, North Carolina and currently a distant learner. My three long term goals would be graduating NCCU, have my own research lab, and eventually obtain my masters. Three short term goals I currently have are to finish the semester strong, obtain a job in my field, and to grow my resume. In support of these goals I continue to take the day one at a time and explore my opportunities here at central. Additionally, I would like to find ways to advocate for an better over health and wellness education in African American communities. I enjoy art, reading, and fitness. Currently my biggest accomplishment would be me continuing with school I had a rough start but after a long battle with myself I chose within to enact with my dreams. My favorite quote is by Nelson Mandela “It always seems impossible… until it’s done!”
